When we were vacationing in Italy, I saw this man walking down the street in one of the little towns we were in. I thought the light in this was interesting. Any suggestions?
Nice. Reminds me of the streets of Assisi.

Wow the light is nice…for me the white plastic bag distracts from the photo…I would begin there

This photograph needs no explanation. The comment regarding ridding the view of the plastic bag fails to realize the bag is the time-piece of this scene. 50 years ago the man would have carried a worn cloth bag rife with patches of repair. 100 years ago he would have carried his possessions in a handkerchief. He has walked this alley since the beginning of civilization. Not sure whether is shows strength or frailty but it is a moving image. BTW, the lighting is time, and the icing on the cake. Thanx!
None. Good shot. Very engaging and thought provoking.

I like the shot. The lighting is very good but as someone else mentioned, the white bag doesn't help. If you could photoshop in a burlap bag in place of it, you would have a wall-hanger!
Well done street photography!

Great shot. Some day the bag takes away. I think it adds. It tells a story. And old crippled man walking home from a shopping trip. He's doing something.
Really nice!
That said, I’d have tried to do something with the bag; either make it all white or try to remove it.
Unless the photo was going into a competition there is no reason to remove the bag.
The picture tells a story as it is.

Love the lighting! For me, a wider view providing more of his surroundings would enhance the story.

I bet it looks great as a monochrome image.
