Excellent series. Great job.
Another interesting group of competition-level images.
#1 Suggested cropping will reduce amount of negative space. Also, tone down distracting bright areas - top of
bldg. left side, tops of other 3 bldgs. left of light beam, bldg. top right side & 2 spots bottom left.
Smile: Suggested crop will emphasize center of interest Tone down 2 necklace discs. Centering desired.
Monoe: Suggested crop will emphasize face. Color red the 3 distracting light colored stripes. also, tone down
cramped forefinger of right hand.
Flip: Suggested crop of chopped-off hands removes major distracting element.
Balloon: Suggested crop improves composition by reducing human presence to secondary position post.
Winter scene acceptable, but do you have another image with longer stretch of roadway to the barn?

Like your monochrome work Mike. Well done!

Quite a variety of subjects and treatments. I particularly like the tonalities that you were able to achieve in a couple of the portraits and the composition of the building images is really interesting. Nice work!

I found some more shots in another folder that I hope you don't mind looking at.
Thanks to anyone who looks and comments.
Well, each photo is better than the one before it.
I’m having a hard time finding a single photo that is a favorite.
I prefer the set before this one.
Black and White is not the issue. You've got a great eye for everything, tone, balance, composition, wide range of subject matter. I'd love to see some of your color work too. Great job, Good show!!!
Wonderful work. Thanks for sharing, I think they’re inspiring me to get out of my recliner and get out and start shooting… maybe tomorrow?
