I think I also see a Sony peeking out in the upper right corner.
Remember that this is a Nikon marketing pose. They gathered all the Nikon shooters from across the country in one spot and had them pose with a couple of other token brands present to try and make it look legit.

Three Nikons and a Canon? Are they taking over again? I haven't seen a Nikon in a photo like this in a long time. It has always been Canon.
Whenever I go to a zoo or garden, or anywhere there are a lot of tourists I see predominately Nikon cameras. I know Canon and now Sony have been the favorites of professional photographers for about the last five years but in more amateur circles Nikon is still very strong. Nikon has a tendency to lead when it comes to innovation. In film days the Nikon F was the camera. When digital first got going, Nikon again led the charge with their D3 and D300 series cameras and in the last chapter of DSLRs there was no better camera than the D850. I think because of their success with cameras like the 850 and 750 series they hung onto that technology too long. This put them decidedly behind both Canon and Sony in the mirrorless arena. The z series has helped them begin to catch up but Nikon doesn't play well from behind. As they continue to grow their z-line technology the other companies aren't going to go dormant. They too will continue to innovate and stay ahead of Nikon for some time.

Actually Canon far and away dominated the pro market over Nikon from about 30 or so years ago.
Why did Canon go from standout White to Nikon Black? Harder to tell the difference at a glance. Puzzling.. is there still a race? Marketing minds.
Yes, there still is a race. And the last thing we need is another my brand is better debate because in reality any of the brands will take good pictures, the controlling factor in quality is usually 4 inches behind the viewfinder, and brands continually leapfrog each other. Familiarity, ergonomics, what you started with, what you're used to…all of those are much more important to which one you buy.
