#4 Special tool for installing A/C belts on Chev/GMC light trucks, the compressor has no means of adjust int the belt.

I don’t want to ruin it right away so let’s just say if you know what this is you should support the 2nd Amendment.

#1 was clearly a spline that was used to turn something (judging by the wear marks) but having never worked on diesel engines beyond changing oil and filters and belts and alternators and hydraulic pumps and starters I could not pinpoint what it was supposed to be turning. I thought about guessing that it was for making rotary adjustments, but couldn't specify what it might be adjusting. The only time I had an engine with a flywheel problem, I sent it to the dealer since I had no facility to split the engine.

The tool is used anytime you need to turn the engine by hand, since you can hardly get to the crank shaft bolt.

Just guessing that might take a long breaker bar considering the compression ratio of a diesel and the fact that it’s not a small engine.

My White tractor with the 585 Minnie engine is a hoss to work on, which I’ve done before. 300 lb crankshaft, 250 lb oil pan, pistons 8 lbs each, flywheel 250+. I’m getting too old for that kind of lifting!

Actually it is easy to turn with a 14"-18"bar or ratchet

LOL, that's what they make jacks for.
I made a fixture for my transmission jack to hold 2 speed diff. third members and flywheels. 30 yrs ago.
