agreed, TR-3. My dad had one back in the mid 1960's. They had a tractor engine in them. Soft side curtains for rainy weather. A real bare bones British sports car. Ours was fire-engine red.

My friend and I used to wander out to Summit Point Raceway 55 years ago to specifically shoot B&W - as we called them - "apple-pan blurries." We never had as much fun and as a result of seeing those cars, I bought - first an MG-A 1500 MkII. Next an MG-B and lastly, Triumph TR-4 with IRS. Want a laugh? The next car was a '57 Chevy because we switched to photographing the drags at Maryland International Raceway and Colonial Beach in VA. Yes - of course Aquasco and eventually all the tracks from NY-National to Gainesville, Fla. I will always hold the time spent at Summit point as some of the most memorable. Your "apple-pan blurry" is terrific!

I am glad you like it, and was able to stir up some great memories. If all goes well I plan on going to Lime rock raceway in Ct. In July IMSA Northeast Grand Prix-I already put the dates in at my job.
I have a guy at work who is friends with the owners sons or son I believe. Telling stories of getting on the track when it was closed.
I also want to go again to the Jefferson 500 this spring

I really like your enthusiasm and your ability with the camera shows. Enjoy Lime Rock - I never made it there. I did qualify for my IMSA license at Road Atlanta (way back when) and came "this close" to getting chance to drive at Daytona before the back marker team lost all its funding. Sportscar racing was a highlight of my photo experiences.
Have fun and post photos of your adventures!
