Learning New Things About My IPhone

When I am shooting video with my Gopro there is a setting where I can capture still images while the Gopro is also shooting video. The GoPro does it automatically based on what interval I want the still images to be shot. Today, I learned there is a similar feature like this when shooting video with my IPhone 13 Pro Max.

1. Open up your Camera app and Choose: Video as an option. When you push the Video button to begin filming, you will see a White Shutter button to the right of the Red Video button.*** See Example Image Below. Now during filming if you see something that you would like a still image of, just hit the White Shutter button. The still image will be taken and stored in your Camera Row. Maybe something in the future, Apple will allow you to adjust the still image setting to work at whatever interval you want during filming without having to push the shutter button. That would be Sweet!

I also learned how to take a screen shot of my IPhone by double tapping the back part of my camera.
1. Go to Settings
2. Accesibility: Touch: Scroll down until you see: Back Tap>Double Tap> Screenshot
Now when you want to grab a screenshot of whatever is showing on you IPhone screen, just double tapp the back and the photo will be taken.

I also learned how to grab a individual movie frame image.
1. Record video
2. Go to your camera row and Choose the video from your Camera Row.
3. Choose Edit from top of screen
4. Use your finger to swipe through the movie and stop on the frame that you want. Then Double tap the back of the IPhone to capture your frame grab. The image will be saved in your Camera Row. Note: You will have to edit and crop the image to get your final image. For me, I think it's easier to just hit the shutter button while filming to capture what I want. Your milage may vary.

That’s some pretty useful information. I like the double tap on the back of the phone for a screen shot. Thanks for the tips.
