Those fogs are called "Tule Fogs" after the grassy wetlands of California's Central Valley.

The school across the street from out house the police arrested several guys with baseball bats and sacks that were killing geese. They also had pickup trucks almost full of sacks of geese they had killed in other locations.

Too cheap to spend enough on ammo to practice and get good enough to get their geese during hunting season.
