So I just received the used Canon R5 and RF 24-105L lens I ordered from B&H. The camera and lens appear to be in very good physical condition, per the ad, but I was a little taken aback that it didn't include the USB cable/ cable protector and the battery that was installed is the older style LP-E6N and not the LP-E6NH that should normally come with an R5. This of corse will affect performance of the Camera. Furthermore, the battery that is included is on its last legs with the recharge performance indicating only one red bar.
Had the advert indicated that the Camera didn't include the proper battery and was missing the cable and cable protector, at least I would have known that when I made my purchase decision. (at the time it was after hours and no way to contact anyone).
I've emailed their Used department to inquire if there might be a way for them to exchange the battery with a proper one, and also get the cable. It's not a huge deal, but I kinda feel when I'm spending over 4 grand that these minor factors should have been mention in the advert.
I actually did order a second LP-E6NH battery, which should arrive in a couple days, thinking I would have a spare, but it appears this will be my only battery unless they will see clear to exchange batteries with me.
Otherwise I'm very excited to try this baby out. I'm struck with how small and light it is compared to my 5D IV.
For 4K, they had better come up with at least 1 battery in my opinion.

It would be a smart business decision for them to pony up one battery that is at least the correct one, m even if it's not a 100% new battery. I know these things are sold "as is" but at least tell the customer what "as is" is.

Canon LP-E6, LP-E6N and LP-E6NH are just different generations of the same battery, with the N holding more charge than the E6 and the NH being the latest version holding the longest charge of all.
I interchange them and the Wasabi Power equivalent in several cameras. When using a battery grip, I do make sure both batteries are the same.
The only effect the older version will have is how long the charge lasts and the number of shots you get.
I will venture that the battery and the missing cable etc. was just the way they bought it.

Yeah, I understand that. I guess I just expected the camera to come with the same battery that an R5 would normally come with. It's not a huge deal, but I'd have rather have had the H version. As it is, the battery that was included is nearly gone.

How do you plan on editing any pics without the cable?? I had to replace one (for a 7DII) because of a similar situation with KEH and it costs over 25.00.

But that is NO excuse for not telling potential customers.
I have an R5 and an older computer without newer style USB ports, so I’ve never used the cable. There’s really no need for it unless you tether I suppose. A CF Express or SD card reader is all you need for editing.

Usually B&H list what is in the box. Maybe not with used. I don't how much over $4k you spent but new on sale rite now is $4799 before tax. = With everything that comes boxed new from Canon
Enjoy your new set-up.

Just take the card and put it into the card reader and download the photos.
I have never used the cable.

I would send the camera back.

Of course. I've been doing it with the cable so long I didn't even think of that.

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, return it. B&H, if I recall correctly, had a decent return policy. When buying used, most sellers indicate exactly what is included. If it says battery included, I always check to make sure it is the battery that the OEM shipped with the camera. Sometimes I have found, by checking, that the battery being shipped is a third party battery (with used purchases). Sorry for your “misfortune” here. I hope your issues get resolved.

Card reader is what I usually use, but I'd still like to have the cable.
