I went there at the same month many years back. 3 days in Keekorok Lodge. Wake up early and you might see giraffes walking by your windows. Nice place, cool mornings, but animals are thin and spread out. They said the best time to see many animals and action is during the migration season, but i believe the cost will be higher.
Goodluck and keep safe

The Sheldrick wildlife trust, Elephant nursery in Nairobi is definitely worth the trip. It is open to the public every day at noon, but if you adopt an elephant you can go back after their day out in the bush.
Here are a few of the videos I did from that amazing experience.
The keeper took my phone and took a photo of me with my baby, Lara.

If your itinarary allows, take a trip to Ngorongora crater, and into the Serengeti for animal viewing. I went there years ago, and I don't know how the political system is now. Be careful in Nariobi, especially at the airport and on the streets. Pickpockets abound.
I agree. Nairobi is a bit sketchy, but Kenya is great! I was there in February 2020. Plenty of animals. I was very much disappointed with the baby Elephant nursery.
The trip that I'm looking at is with a private guide. They would pick me up at the airport and be with me the entire time (11days) and take me back to the airport.

Perfect! If your guide is reputable. You'll have a great time. I went mostly to see and photograph wildlife. However. I came back with much more of an appreciation of the culture. The children are beautiful, well behaved and starved for learning. I took pencils, crayons and writing tablets. They were over joyed to get them. We breafly met Richard Leakey on the road into Tanzania.
