I don’t really follow The Attic, but sometimes see interesting posts from there when looking at the Newest Topics section.
What I see, from folks on both sides of the political spectrum, is that when citing another person or article, post, etc., too many do not consider their source or whatever objectively; in other words, they read what they want something to say rather than what is really being said, making their statements look foolish. Read and consider objectively, my friends, before sticking your feet in your collective mouths. Just a thought.
Sorry--the title should be "Read Carefully and Objectively."

That is a common problem in life not just on UHH Attic. It is very noticeable in debates (arguments).
In family life - teenage kids and parents etc. We, in the sales and marketing business referred to it as "The message sent Vs The message received"
