Such as in 54" pieces?
Thanks.
More like 2x4, 1x3, 4x4, etc. of any length, although there are standard lengths as well.
I usually buy frames cut and fitted from this outfit, and do the rest myself. But they might sell lengths of frame stock; I'd check because at least on cut and fitted frames they have some of the best pricing I've found.
http://123frame.net/pifrmobyle.htmlI have ordered frame stock on occasion from this outfit. When I lived in the DC area there was a similar local supplier I could patronize. You have to buy a minimum of 18 feet of each stock (two 9 foot lengths), and they cut it to 4 and 5 foot lengths for shipping.
http://123frame.net/pifrmobyle.htmlYou might also try some of the big art supply houses like Jerry's Artarama (
https://www.jerrysartarama.com/) or Dick Blick (
https://www.dickblick.com/)
If you're looking for unfinished wood, then a good millwork shop will likely have a much greater selection of mouldings than the big box stores, and can usually produce custom profiles (for a price of course).

I am trying to buy moulding to make my own picture frames but am having no luck. I have been able to find that CountryArtHouse does do what I want but have been unable to find a way to contact them.
If anyone know where to buy picture frame moulding please let me know.
I know I'm not answering the question, but a good workaround is available:
Resale shops like RESTORE, GOODWILL, many others, have huge stocks of framed pictures and paintings, often lousy pictures but great frames. I sometimes buy the inexpensive complete unit, throw out the picture, and recut the frame to the smaller size I need for prints of my own. Sometimes the stains or paint can be modified as well.
I don't know where you live, but if you are near a large city, there should be a framers' supply house located there. Because these are wholesale places, they may not advertise to the public. You could ask at a Michael's store in the framing department the name of the company they purchase from. Joanne's Fabrics has framing departments also.
In order to purchase from most of these wholesale companies, you must open an account, and some of them are really picky about what businesses they will deal with. The premier company in the Phoenix area, for example, will not open an account for anyone who does not have an actual storefront open standard hours to the public. Since I work out of my home, they wouldn't allow me an account. Two other companies in the area, however, did allow me to open an account.
BTW, most of them also sell matboard, mounting board and equipment and supplies.

I don’t know where you are located but I set up an account with Don Mar, a supplier to framing shops and buy at wholesale prices from them. Used them when I lived in NJ and VT.

These other companies—do they have minimum purchase amounts? Do they ship if you don't live in the Valley and can't be running down there all the time? Do they have some sort of catalog, either print or online?
Thanks.
Depending on where you live, Joann Fabrics has a center for framing with all different types of frames in various colors & will often have sales
