1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. This is my favorite, & best, & LAST photo from the St. Ignace Car Parade from Aug. 24, 2022. With Lake Huron in the background, the deep purple tree, the smaller green tree & the orange bush, and the low setting sun, it just turned out great. The car's not bad either.

Thank you for posting one oy favorite subjects, CARS. Chevy tops my list and preferring the '56 and "64.
I didn"t see one car that I disliked.

Beautiful photo and by far the best looking year of the 50's Chevys.

Gorgeous shot! Tell me, am I addled or is this car longer than the stock 55? My recollection is that they were shorter in both the front and the rear ends. Is it my judgment that's off?

This one pictured was actually called the Sport Coupe Hardtop & in my opinion had the ideal proportions (hood & trunk) with no pillar between the side windows. The other models, sedan , one-fifty, and two-ten didn't look quite as nicely proportioned.

Compare with the '55 I posted a few days previous.
