I like both of them as well and I am not quite certain I prefer one over the other. That said however, I think I would, although just by a hair, prefer # 1 if the right were cropped just to include the small round tree just past the small gap in the treeline. If that makes sense. Please do not think I am suggesting that your crop, or lack thereof in the case of no crop is wrong. I am just saying I "think" that would cause me to give one the slightest edge in preference over the other. Both are terrific shots.
