How about great shots by a terrific photographer; or, hard work, persistence, and being in the right place at the right time really does pay off.
Pretty spectacular shots! Wouldn't want to be out in my rowboat fishing on that day.
That is fantastic. Thanks for the post.

I just saw this posting from Epoch Times, by a photographer and his waves on Lake Erie - well worth a look!
Incredible shots and guts by the photographer. Dedication is an understatement. Facing that weather and compounding it with the debilitating disease he has, makes me appreciate the Southern California weather all that much more.
Thanks for posting!

He is an obviously dedicated, committed and patient photographer with a unique passion for his trade. Kudos to him for his work and his tenacity to get the photo. Outstanding and beautiful photos. Thank you for the link to his work.
Those waves have a definitely wow factor and nicely captured by the photographer.

"...Earning two degrees at Fanshawe College in London, Pottelberg became a professional photographer in 2000, and he has seen his work published all over the globe, including in North America, Europe, and China. He was named Photographic Artist of the Year 2021 by the Professional Photographers of Canada..." Well deserved... Yes seems that formal academic training can (and oft does) bring a heighten level of competence to the table.
Thank you so much for sharing this inspirational photo exposé fosis, truly appreciated!
"… The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they called Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy...
… Does any one know where the love of God goes
When the waves turn the minutes to hours?…
...Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
In the rooms of her ice-water mansion...
...And farther below Lake Ontario
Takes in what Lake Erie can send her...
...With the gales of November remembered.
