...the bottle of pancake syrup.....Aunt Jemima. I remember watching the Aunt Jemima commercials, who didn't love Aunt Jemima as a child? I sure did....loved seeing her, as if she was my aunt. Democrats are such racists little pigs. God save Mrs. Butterworth from the racist Democrats if they didn't kill her off already.

What a frankly thoughtless & foolish discussion -----
As much as these images bring back old memories for us old white guys from when we were kids as it does for me
The old syrup logo may not have been intended to be racist but was indeed very racist -- So was that black guy servant selling us converted rice -- Unkle Ben

What the hell is 'pancake syrup'?

Quietly, the shedding of these advertising artifacts is always a *rational, bottom line, corporate decision.

* not to put too fine of a point on it but ... you know ... Capitalism.

or

Like Elon Musk owning the Libs, corporate America stays up late thinking of ways to own Rac and the MAGAs.

It wasn't too thoughtless and foolish for you to comment on it or are you in the habit of commenting on thoughtless and foolish discussions?
Please explain what is racist about the image posted? Are you claiming a picture of a nice, pleasant looking black lady is racist? Please be specific.
And how was a picture of a pleasant looking black gentleman racist. It was in no way a caricature or demeaning.

How about this ---
To assume & assign an entire classification of Americans as no more than servants to white people

You might want to view some previous *'respectful' Aunt Jemima imagery ... straight outta Jim Crow minstrels

Why would they change the original imagery to the treasured imagery you just lost?

It was too embarrassing after the 60s?

* " ... no way a caricature or demeaning."

BTW this stuff is traded on ebay. jussayin'

You totally deflected and ignored my question. I am 72 years old. I am familiar with the original racist depiction of Aunt Jemima. I specifically asked what was racist about the image posted. Can you try answering that. You enjoy whitesplaining so it should be pretty easy.

I knew you would be unable or unwilling to answer my question. I asked what specifically was racist about the image posted. I am not talking about the past history of stereotypes. How is the image posted in anyway demeaning, racist or portraying black servitude?

Wow you really have to go deep to get that out of a syrup label. I believe the ones like you who claim almost everything is racist are the racists.
