Every November, after Thanksgiving, the Cape Neddick “Nubble” lighthouse in York Maine is lit up for Christmas. Today is the day. This photo, however, was taken a number of years back before the lights were changed to LEDs. There is something about the warmth of the more traditional lights. I think I may have posted this photo before, but it does speak to the holiday spirit. I hope you enjoy it.

It also gets lit up in July for “Christmas in July”. It’s a bit warmer then.

I like the lighting and the composition of this lighthouse and outbuilding. The exposure also brings out the strong graphic quality of the subject. Thanks for sharing.
