Rather than conspiracy theories, you should acquaint yourself with meteor crater ballistics. You seem to approach this with an already formulated concept of what happened. Instead, I'd suggest an approach where all of the possibilities are considered and compared with known data and reach an intellectual conclusion. Thus, considering the trajectory of the object which caused the crater, the possible velocity of said object, etc. It's a bit more scientific than a woo-woo theory.

Streets, in all honesty, I’m having trouble believing this .

Please share with me the camera/lens combination you used , as well as the exposure information.

Sony A65v---Sony 18-135mm(killer)@55mm---ISO 200---f11---1.3sec.

If you use quickmap just roll in until it stops at max magnification and be amazed.

Streets, what are you trying to tell us? That the moon is covered in secret NASA monitoring equipment? Or anything else?

NASA has amazing public access photos. They want to keep the public happy to get funding

NO, not NASA but intelligence greater and older then we are. Check out pre Inca and pre dynastic Egyptian civilizations on Earth. They did things that we are incapable of doing, to this day.

Thank you for your many adolescent replies.

They seem perfectly suited to your adolescent theme.

You stopped posting about contrails six years ago but you still haven't developed any common sense.

Not all of us who were born in West Virginia are silly.

Now pray tell me the difference between all this & all those folks that deny humans activity along with the burning of fossil fuels as being directly responsible for global climate change or all those that believed that wearing a N95 mask during the Covid pandemic was bad for your health & or the health of others or even preferred to take horse medicine vs a fully tested global applied vaccine
OR for goodness' sake: The damn election was stolen!!

So these Earthbound conspiracy theories are somehow different than those affecting the Moon
Both smell the same --
Both are based on fear & illogic

Thank you. I'll show this to my wife. (But she'll probably ask about dumb)

In times of duress or dire need you'll be left wanting for the community of WV.
There are those who don't understand the difference between dumb and ignorance.
For those there remains the quality of stupid: blindness that disavows the quality of learning.
