Excellent shots of a bunch of them.
I don't understand why any body would build a rat rod. They spend a bunch of money on the thing, put a decent engine in it and it looks like it escaped from a junk yard. If they put a little more work into the body and please, a little paint they would look like really nice rods. I don't understand rat rods at all.

Completely agree - I just don’t get it, but thanks KT for all the car mages you’ve been posting.

They walk to their own drummer. Many in our family don’t understand how we can own two impractical British cars when they own, e.g., Priuses (ugh).

Oh, I get the Jaguar thing, they are creations of automotive beauty. Many/most of the exotics aren’t “practical” from a cost/mile driven sense, but life is too short to drive boring cars.

Rat Rods, I love em! The fun and creativity really comes out no two are alike, and you don't have to cringe every time someone touches one or if it gets a little dirty.

You can go to a car show as see rows of '57 chevy's and they all look similar. You can find the rows of Lamborgini's and they all look similar. If you can find the row of rats, each will be unique and you could spend the rest of the day exploring the oddity each and every car.

They park wherever they want.
No worry about dings.
