When we make it out to WVA, will try to stop by this area. Is late spring a good time to see it?

I have seen summer pix where the tiger lilies are gorgeous along the water's edge. Can't remember whether there were rhododendrons or azaleas for spring color, though. Try googling 'Images of Cook's Old Mill, WV'. If there is spring color, it's bound to show up in some of the photographs.

Thanks, Jim! This was an especially nice heritage site for photographers to work with...lovely seasonal landscaping for interesting compositions.

First morning in Monroe County we headed out to Cook's Old Mill, a beautifully preserved and privately owned property which the owners graciously share with the public. The grounds are immaculately kept and a real joy for any photographer to explore.
On the road to get there, we passed over the Laurel Creek Bridge, the shortest covered bridge in WV, at 34' 6".

Nicely done, DMeyer!
