Up top where it says Home. I have a second tab (Downloads) open.
The initial opening location is "Home":

No tabs so I installed the Windows 22H2 update or w/e it was called (which has probably been sittting on my machine for months) and there the tabs are.

But a hack that a update could reverse.

I mostly use PhotoShop Elements which I upgrade every few years. For some things I still use PhotoShop CS5. I won't install Win 11 until I can confirm CS5 will continue to work. Most anything I want to do comes naturally. When I bought a new laptop 2 or 3 years ago I didn't realize it didn't have a disk drive. I called Adobe and they gave me a link to download CS5, even though it had been long discontinued. Too old to learn too many knew things.

22H2 W11 is out now. [This Machine is running it] BUT I read that this is a phased rollout, as they verify your device will run the upgrade. [I don't have a citation other than the Windows Update notice]

I have never relied on the software I use to determine when I upgrade my OS. I use Linux more than I do windows now and it is much safer than Windows. Even a minor Windows update can cause your software to act incorrectly. Windows is much more susceptible to security issues. Don't ever think that someone might not hack you. There are hacks thar suck your resources to be used as a computer to run other software on. An example is a crypto mining software.

Late to the thread here - sorry. I just purchased a new desktop and it came with Windows 11. While all my apps work just fine including Photoshop/Lightroom, there has been a change that irritates me in "Pictures" in that you can no longer run a slideshow of images in one of your saved folders. I used to use that feature all the time. For that reason alone I would go back to Windows 10 if I could.

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it!
I tried on my W11 Machine [22H2] and you are right![No Slideshow]
Verified on 2 of my W10 [21H2 & 22H2] systems and it still works!

Thought there might be some updates to things lacking like being able to view psd thumbnails or NEF files without having to install 3rd party software. As far as I can see there is no reason to "upgrade" even though it is free. If it was faster....maybe....but I see alot of "upgraders" with issues that don't justify the benefits. Must be some reason like Gates buying up as much farm land as he can!

He is buying farmland because they are carbon credits in farmland. They will be very valuable soon.

Easy fix

1) Open a command window
2) Type netsh winsock reset
3) Press ENTER

That should fix it.

I tried and it works.
