Nice images which bring back memories of our 15-day Park West Camera Club (NYC) "Field Trip" to Colorado in 2007. My wife and I as well as a dozen members rode this train and had lunch in town there as well.

I remember riding in a window-less open car to shoot the colorful scenery.

It's good to hear that the Durango and Silverton train is still going strong!

Great set and loved all the bright colors. I've never taking that train ride before but your pictures make me want to get on a train and ride. I was wondering if the train actually stopped for you to take the photographs???

Dalbon!

From my memory the train did not stop but traveled non-stop. From the images above, you can see the non-windowed cars; I see two with a regular seated car in between them.
