I use Photoshop Elements. I have the old topaz pack, and also the new photo AI. I don't like the photo AI as much as I do using Denoise and Sharpen AI. The new program seems to do a very good job of eliminating noise, but it does a lousy job, in my opinion, of sharpening when it is needed.

I had bought the Gigapixel, Denoise, and Sharpen package as a bundle for $159 3 months before Photo AI came out, and "rescued" a lot of images I might otherwise have deleted. (I don't have any Adobe products, so Topaz works well on its own.) I was happy to be able to download Photo AI for free, since I already had the other 3 programs. Photo AI does look for and improve faces, and is a good "catch all", but I still use the other 3 when I want to emphasize their individual strengths.

Do you work for Topaz? Did you not read that they actually did a remote to try to make the plug-ins work on my Elements 2021 and failed? Did you not read that they said they have the probkem on their todo list, but have not gotten to it as yet?
When I updated the Topaz Suite, for which I paid about $60, there can be only one filter included in the path. No matter what they did by remote, they failed to fix the problem.
Caveat Emptor, the buyer beware. I paid for their service, but I have not been treated appropriately.

No need to be testy to me.

Only if you don't have some of the Plug-Ins already.
I use FastStone Image Viewer: however, I have access to the Canon program that came with my 7Ti that I haven't looked at.

I've recently started to use Photo AI and am pleasantly surprised with the results. My first thoughts were...I wonder what it would do for many of the photos I've taken in the past 10 years or so.
If you have the original files I think that you will be amazed, even if you use batch processing in the default mode.
If needed, it will also automatically enlarge your file.
Load up a bunch and do a side-by-side comparison afterward.
Photo AI (default mode) gets me to where I want to be post-processing-wise most of the time.
It is not perfect however it improves with each update.

I have not looked at the most recent offerings (and there is no reason to do so), but DeNoise 6 was better than anything they put out subsequently! However, that has been left in the dust by ON1, which now is the best available - in most areas.

Topaz Photo...I have it...started in the beta stages...so watched it progress.
What was the progression?
It wasn't the AI at all...
That's already baked and done as a workflow in Topaz Gig, Sharpen, and DeNoise.
The progress is about the integration of the already established AI programs into one cohesive workflow.
And yes...they pulled it off.
It's still getting weekly updates...fine tuning as always.
It works...and it's fast...and the AI...is the same as before...I'm sure they are improving it like everything else...
But they did not invent new wheels...they put their existing wheels onto a single chassis.
It works.

If you want to spend money on a post processing program, look into Version 2 of Affinity Photo. $40.99, no subscription, comprehensive, like photoshop and a continuous learning curve. I have been with them for 5 years, received at least 20 upgrades for Version 1 at no cost. I have been very please.
I downloaded the trial. I really like what I saw. It was on sale for 149, so I am sure it will go there or lower for the holidays

I once watched a marching band where 99 members turned left and one turned right. That person was convinced the other 99 turned the wrong way.
Have you considered that perhaps the problem is you? I also have Tooaz products and the new AI bundle. Everything installed as it should and works seamless with LR and PS as plug-ins for me. But then, I do have a good understanding of a root directory and file tree.
I wish people would read before writing. I already explained that Topaz actually remoted into my computer and found that they could not get it to work.
I am sorry I brought it up, but I thought others might want to know my experience before they decide to spend the money.

Having read virtually every post here for the last several years, it has been my ongoing observation that many either do not read, or cannot comprehend, that which has been written, but choose to "answer" anyway! Your post IS of value!
