But of course--I always do. I get some nice shots that way, and they're still candid to me because I don't pose them.
Do you usually get a copy of the image to those folks? Nice group shot, Voss!
Stan
Nice one! This seems to happen often at public get togethers and celebrations.

Thanks, Stan. No, I don't, and only one person has ever seemed to expect one. That was a Hispanic grandmother shepherding her grandkids around town. I sent a copy to her husband's phone, but don't know if she ever received it (there were language problems). I also don't show them, because with the small screen size and unedited features they just don't look that good to me.
Thanks, Guyserman. And now I can rule out one possible meaning for that sign (I had gotten it under various circumstances).

Thanks, Bushpilot. Yes, there's something about the sight of a camera that turns some people into flagrant exhibitionists (samples to come later on).
I really enjoy your endless stream of great shots Voss. And I'm surprised more people don't ask for a copy.
On occasion I've sent some of my "street" subjects copies and always gotten a nice note back.

Do some research before ruling anything out. Apparently the index finger is added to the middle finger as camouflage.

Thanks, mr spock. Can't answer your question. I always expect something like, "Can I see it?" or similar, but it doesn't happen.

Now that's a different way of looking at it. I'll have to think about it.
