A couple of compositions from Sunrise at Glacier National Park. Our last day. I had to experiment with B&W
The color two is my favorite-lovely!
Really nice images. I prefer the first one. Both photographs appear to be from the same viewing angle but the foregrounds are different. What Iβm seeing in the first image is a closer position to the small treed island in the lake with an evergreen stand in the foreground. The second image is from a more distant viewpoint along the same line away from the island, but the evergreen stand isnβt there where one would expect it to be.

So beautiful! I sure like your composition of #2.
I have really enjoyed this series! Thanks for sharing.
Very nice. I like your B&W and the mood it reveals but #2 is just amazing. I have not been there in a long time, makes want to revisit. Thank you for sharing.
Great photos. The ones I took in the late 70"s even in summer, had much more snow. And some people deny global warming,
i really like the Black and White rendition. The mountain shapes and lake are strengthened which adds impact to the composition
I like them all. The monochrome is intriguing. Very moody. I feel like Frodo heading for Mordor. Very well done.
