I always thought it was funny how dogs like chairs so much. My dog gets excited when I saw, "Want to go into the living room?" He runs in and stands by the chair.
We had a friend staying for a few days, and he was sitting in "the big chair." Dexter (dachshund) was staring at him. Eventually, he emitted not so much a growl as a groan. Dan got out of the chair, and I lifted Dexter up onto it.
