I picked a sprig of Asian Honeysuckle berries and brought them in for a focus stacking session.
I've included an image of the setup that I used to stage this session which I will describe below:
1. The sprig is placed on the positioner by sticking it into a dab of plasticine modeling clay to hold it in place.
2. A piece of aluminum foil is placed under the positioner to bounce some fill light and lift any cast shadows.
3. Illumination is provided by an LED soft-light panel set at an angle to wash light down the length of the sprig.
4. A piece of soft blue and pink muddled colored paper is hung from the light panel to create the background.
5. The optic for the session is a Novoflex bellows lens extended a distance to frame the view of the image created.
6. Sixty-four images were taken in the stack and processed to produce the posted image.

Fantastic image!!!
Thanks, Manglesphoto. It's nice at times to go further than the backyard to get a subject for a session.

That's quite the set-up. Maybe someday I'll try to duplicate it. Great shot as always!!!!!

Thanks, Kpmac. The Asian Honeysuckle is a scourge as well as an invasive plant.
