Or go to $2400 USD and get the latest new fullframe 33mp Sony A7IV with 5.5 stops IBIS, just a super versatile camera with many new performance features. You might find it for less used.

Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS, $1000 USD new , even less used.

A great choice IMHO.

FYI, since moving over from pro Nikon and Canon which I used for over 40 years (both brands), I have owned Sony Mirrorless A6500 (APS-C); and Sony Mirrorless fullframe A7RII, A7RIII, A7III, A9, and currently own Sony A1, A7RIV, A7SIII.

Of my 13 E-mount lenses I have covering 10mm to 600mm from Sony, Sigma and Tamron, my Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS lens is my most used lens for my professional and personal use around the world.

Here one shot, 24mp Sony A9, and Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS lens. This shot was chosen as a Worldwide Photo of the Week by Sony Alpha Photographers in 2020. Environmental Scientist Brook H., in a slot canyon near Upper Antelope Canyon, Navajo Lands, Page, Arizona, USA. 24mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/30 second, handheld, all natural sunlight in the canyon.

Another award-winning Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS shot, 24mp Sony A9. A local swimmer dives off a pier into the Caribbean Sea on the island of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. 24mm, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/2000 sec.

With an adapter your current Canon lenses will work very well on a Sony body. So, with the Sony body you can either stay with your lenses or make the switch over time as good price-oriented opportunities arrive. I went Sony several years ago and still use some of my Canon lenses

I could care less for this Sony stuff - But I certainly will give KEH some props (Again!).... Coupla' weeks ago I ordered a lens (30mm Sigma Art lens) from the UG (ugly) section for my Olympus/Lumix m43 bodies. I expected it to be kinda' beat up but functional. Noap! When I received the lens, it looked as if it had never been used... only missing front and rear caps. Absolutely functions properly and looks almost new. Perfect glass and body.

This has been a common theme from KEH, in my opinion, in past years of ordering from them. No hesitation!

There are many UHHers that love their micro 4/3rds gear, and it is great that there is good gear from different brands and in different size formats.

The OP is interested in the greater resolution of fullframe mirrorless. And there are many good reasons why Sony is the #1 selling brand of mirrorless gear in the world. Canon sells more overall units, which includes Canon DSLRs, but for just mirrorless, Sony leads in worldwide sales, CIPA numbers confirm that.

KEH is among some very good used gear sellers, including Adorama, B&H, Allen's Camera, Samy's Camera and a few more that are trustworthy and back their used gear sales.

Cheers and best to you.

The Sony models I listed in my previous comment the 24mp A7C, 24mp A7III, and 33mp A7IV all have great video capabilities and great IBIS.

One Very important fact: The Sony E-mount is the most widely produced and used mirrorless lens mount in the world. There are nearly 200 native E-mount lenses from Sony, Sigma, Tamron, Samyang/Rokinon, Zeiss, Tokina, Viltrox, Meike ,Yongnuo, and others. And these excellent E-mount lenses come in all price ranges to fit any budget. I personally own native E-mount lenses from Sony, Sigma, Tamron.

Neither Canon or Nikon even come close to this for mirrorless lens choices. And Canon has forbidden third=party lens makers from making any RF lenses, so you would be locked into the limited RF line of lenses, with just a few cheap kit lenses, or a few very expensive top quality RF lenses.

Nikon , to its credit, is now opening up its Z-mount to Tamron lenses, some badged as Nikon Z-lens like the Z-mount 28-75mm f2.8, and Z-mount 17-28mm f2.8 lenses, and the new Tamron badged Z-mount 70-300mm lens. But still just a few are available now .

Here are the E-mount lenses already available, more additional new ones are being released all the time in all price ranges to fit any budget:

From Sony:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sony_E-mount_lenses

From Third-party lens makers:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_third-party_Sony_E-mount_lenses

Canon's move to ban third-party lenses has already led to many of those considering R -cameras to move to Sony or Nikon. I know this because I administrate and moderate several worldwide photography groups on Facebook and folks have commented around the world on what a dumb move it is by Canon and why they are now NOT going to go to Canon R cameras, and Canon's competitors are benefitting.

Cheers and best to you.

Here my 24mp Sony A7III with the very affordable E-mount Sigma Art 70mm f2.8 Macro DG lens. A dragonfly in Manistee National Forest, Michigan, USA. 70mm, ISO 6400, f22, 1/1000 second, handheld, all natural sunlight.

I favor APS-C format cameras, and I routinely print 16x20" and 20x30"high-quality images without a hitch. If you're willing to do the same, the Fujifilm X series is the one to look at. I'm delighted with my Fujifilm X S10 body. I bought it in perfect condition for $850 from a trusted seller on eBay, and it's now paired with a refurbished Fujifilm f4 16-80mm ($700), a new Fujifilm f1.4 35mm lens ($600), and a Fujifilm XC 15-45mm lens ($300). The entire outfit weighs in at about 5-pounds including the camera bag, and I'd put it against any gear made by Canon, Leica, Sony, or Nikon at twice the price and weight. I've owned mirrorless systems of all these brands. Remember, with APS-C, the lens lengths are multiplied by 1.5 to get the 35mm equivalent. Also, the body is stabilized for all lenses, and the zooms are optically stabilized.

Got a Fall/Winter 2022 flyer in the mail from KEH. Started flipping through the pages, got GAS pains, but had a pack of TUMs in my pocket. What got my attention was the depth of mirrorless brands and equipment levels in their inventory. So I started wondering if I did go mirrorless, which brand, which camera? Would not know where to start. Too much to choose from. Time to game this situation.

Say I have a price point of $1800-$2200 for the body. Seems the UHH consensus is that it must have IBIS. Let's say we pair it with a 24-105 lens or equivalent, say $1000, give or take. Prefer full frame resolution. Never had a problem with pre-owned equipment. I shoot mostly outdoors, buildings, nature, often on open waters. Currently use all Canon equipment but not a limiting factor.

Now, which brand, which model?

In your price range. I'm prety sure you just missed a sale on this with the 24-105 for a couple hindred $ more than what the body sells alone for now.
