The Nikon is actually less expensive because the Exide also requires jumper cables, a voltage transformer and a hand cart in order to use it with your Nikon. It probably does have longer life though. That's important if you are tracking man-eating tigers through the jungle. Who would want to miss the shot of those jaws coming at them because their battery died?
