I enjoyed these photos, have visited Mich. western coast and Mackinac Island.

These photos were taken this past Sunday and Monday. The first 2 are of the Pine River taken from the Silver Creek state forest campground, the next ones are simple roadside pics near Luther Mi east of M37. The final 2 are in Muskegon Mi along Scenic drive and by the blockhouse… the highest point in the area and also overlooking Lake Michigan.

Make the same drive in 6 weeks and see if your scenery has changed, color-wise at least. Drove "down state" a month ago and noticed a vast difference in colors. Proximity of the big lakes has a big influence on colors, as it does with apples.
