My husband has the orange Crosstrek and loves it!
I don't think that color is available anymore. That was the "signature" color of the first Crosstreks. Now it's that garish green-yellow. Sorry, that's just my opinion.

I agree on your description of the greenish/yellow.

Saw this on the Subaru forum. U.K. owner. Looks suited to the enviroment, unlike the Misubishi somethong or the other we did the highway in many moons ago.

Still driving my 2013 Outback at 120,000 miles. Has been pretty dependable, and when I lived in Maine my "winter tires" were studded snow tires. As long as you were careful, you could get where you needed to go with 4-wheel drive with studded tires!
I was amused while reading the latest John Sandford novel when a witness described a possible suspect as driving "one of those lesbian cars". The detective asks: "you mean a Subaru Outback"? I thought that was pretty funny, because I would assume that in Minnesota, like in Maine, a LOT of folks have Outbacks!

Never heard that one before so I had to do the research: It seems it was a marketing approach by Subaru.

Believe it or not, I wrote to Subaru complaining about their color selection. I have a good sense of color as I have a BS in Art Education and an MA in Art. The current choices for colors are pretty dull. I guess they're following the trend. My 1st choice was Pure Red, 2nd Lagoon Blue. Neither were available on the Sport Model.
