Not your usual Great Blue Heron shot.
After 6 days in Haines, AK we always like to spend a few days in Juneau to round out our visit and unwind. We were at the Mendenhal Glacier because we have gotten many eagle shots there and this day was no different. But we did see a GBH on the roof of the visitor center and as my wife walked up to check the hours, the bird flew off. Here are two of the resulting images.

This is the shot that is the most interesting. Never seen one of these over ice bergs from the Mendenhal glacier. Or any other glacier for that matter.

Awesome capture ! Well said that is not a usual GBH shot. Nicely done.
