We visited Tahquamenon Falls in Michigan's upper peninsula. It has an upper falls and a smaller lower falls, part of the Tahquamenon River, that empties into Lake Superior. The unique thing about the water is that it is a brownish orange color. There is a cedar swamp at the beginning of the river and the cedars leach their tannins into the water, thus the unusual color. You can see the colors in the last 3 pictures of the upper falls. Unfortunately, we had a lot of bright sun that day which made things a bit more challenging. Thanks for looking
