We do not get Blue Jays real often near our home in northern Minnesota, and I enjoyed his colors against the fall leaves. I took the image with a Sony RX10 IV bridge camera at about 500mm (35mm equivalent). This is my first try at a post, so fingers crossed I did it correctly.😊

Yeah, they're not at all common that far west. They are very common here in Pennsylvania and they're here year round. I've probably photographed more Blue Jays than any other bird. I really like the coloring, and they have no blue pigment in them at all.
You got an excellent photo of a really pretty bird.
