Has anyone else had a problem with Peak Design?
I recently purchased from them a number of products including carbon fiber tripod, 30 L backpack, medium and small size camera cubes etc.
The problem is that the cubes do not attach to the bag with clips as the anchor points on the bag and cube are misaligned. I have been emailing them and they have stopped responding to my emails and they do not list a phone number. The number that is listed is auto response without the ability to speak with anyone. I am getting frustrated.
Any suggestions based on your experience with Peak Design would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Mikky
They seem to make good stuff but I stopped using them when they started a political agenda that I did not agree with.
I use the strap and it is great but I have never tried to contact them.

In what way are they misaligned? Have you expanded the pack (the 30L does not work with camera cubes if it is not expanded)?
If they really are misaligned, return the bag and try another.
They will not respond to my email asking for a RMA number.

Then I would take it up with my credit card company.
Yes the bag was fully expanded. The position of loops in the bag and that of the cube are over 1 to 2" apart so the pins cannot connect. This true in all four orientation of the cube.
I have many products from Peak Design. I have never had any issues with them. I have had questions and they always answered also.
They show this on their site:
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING A VERY HIGH VOLUME OF SUPPORT REQUESTS AND ARE WORKING TO GET BACK TO EVERYONE WITHIN 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS BUT COULD BE DELAYED BEYOND THAT. PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN MULTIPLE SUPPORT REQUESTS AS WE ARE ANSWERING THEM IN THE ORDER THEY ARE RECEIVED. MANY QUESTIONS WE ARE RECEIVING ARE AROUND DELAYED SHIPMENTS OR MISSING ITEMS IN ORDERS. PLEASE CHECK THE FOLLOWING HELP ARTICLES AS THESE MAY PROVIDE ANSWERS TO MANY OF YOUR QUESTIONS:
Maybe your multiple request keeps putting you at the back of the line.

I have purchased some camera straps from them but have never had a problem. My only problem has been they are big Eco Freaks.

Not to divert this into a political discussion, (I like PD) but you bring up a good point about voting with your dollars. Can you please tell us any specifics about your comment so we can understand more please about PD? If you would prefer, you can direct message me.
Thanks

Then don't! Go to the attic with it, or send a private message.

Or contact the BBB.
Over the years the BBB has become totally useless. Contacting them is an exercise in futility,,
Peak Design just abruptly ended the discount promotional arrangements the company had with various professional photographers who promoted the gear on their websites, blogs, etc. So my guess is that the company is in some degree of financial distress.
This from Dan Carr on October 6th:
For many years, Peak Design has allowed us to give Shutter Muse readers a 10% discount code. Unfortunately, I was informed yesterday that it is going away. Our special discount codes will expire on Friday at 8:30 AM MT.
And it's not just our codes. All photography sites that had this secret deal will be losing them.
In fact, they were due to expire immediately, but I negotiated a small extension window for Shutter Muse readers to make their last discounted purchases.
