Except the first evening in NYC the sky was beautiful as you have seen some of the pictures earlier. The next three days, the sky was kind of dull, but I still managed to get on the Brooklyn Bridge and captured some pictures. Just do the best I can.

Hope you will enjoy this NYC iconic bridge!

Obviously your "Just do the best I can" is far better than what a lot of us can do. Even when things are off center or slightly askew, it just shows some of what you go through to get the shot you do, and share with us all. Personally I think it gives a very personal touch to your work, and shows it is not a manufactured image.

I'm with dcholley, I almost got dizzy, too. Many a time my wife has steadied me with her leg while I was nealing down beside, or bending over a car at a car show to shoot a murial on a side or trunk. Does your model/wife act as your flying buttress while you are making some of your shots?

Did They Kick all the Vendors off the bridge?? I was just there in June and the vendors were taking over the place, killed any chance of a good image for that trip.

Thanks Dannj! I would refer the lines to be at the center as well, but a little crooked pictures shows that we are all still a regular tourist and enjoys the surrounding elements. Anyway I could fix it in the post processing but just let you guys enjoy what I was trying to do, not easy with all the traffic on the bridge....

Believe me, I know how hard it can be to shoot in places like this so I’m not criticizing. And if you’re with other people who aren’t as, shall we say “enthusiastic”, about your work it’s even harder😂. The off center shots are often better than head-on. I think I must have been subjected to a lot of “stay between the lines” stuff as a kid😳

Thanks so much for your honest opinion lmTrying! I am still pretty athletic but some time it would take more efforts than the others but my wife just let me do my things because she knows that I can make those shots still. In the future, I am not sure.....

I think they have kicked them off the bridge martinfisherphoto. I did not see many of them on the bridge around 6-7 pm, just bunch of tourists taking selfie and locals walking by. It is such a beautiful bridge for the merchant selling stuffs that just ruins the scene.

Great, I've been going to NYC every other year for the last 8yrs. I always stop here for images up top and then from below at night shooting back toward Manhattan. With the Pavilion and everything else that shot is getting harder each year as well. I can't get enough of the skyscrapers and of coarse the park. Looks like you made the best of your trip and brought home lots of images..
