The only difference between men and boys is the size and cost of their toys.

Just got a new Toy
I’m guessing 2002. Can’t be a 97 or 98 unless the rims have been exchanged out, and that body style (C5) changed for the new C6 style in 2005. They’re fun cars, but not practical at all. I’ve had my 2000 Navy Blue Metallic Coupe since 2006, and have enjoyed it a lot since owning it. Tons of fun, interesting, Corvette owners out there! Enjoy yours, and like everybody says, “Drive it like you stole it”!

Enjoyed my 2003 50th Anniversary Edition for a number of years and found it to be quite practical - great mileage and good cargo space. With the 6spd standard trans and a light foot, I routinely got 37mpg on the open road. Compared to earlier Vettes I owned, this C-5 had really comfortable seats and good driving position and rode like a luxury car. With limited garage space, I parted with this car a few years back as I chose to keep my other two toys which I have owned for over 20 years.
