The artist John Howard Pyle and those who he influenced in illustrative painting
was artwork that I always admired. His sense of color and composition was
used to illustrate numerous children's books on pirates, Robin Hood and other
such subjects offering the viewer great realism. He taught many of the great
illustrators of the period by establishing the Howard Pyle School of Illustration Art.
All that came to mind when I took this photograph of the evening clouds. A trip to
the Brandywine Conservancy and Museum Of Art is worth a trip to Chadds Ford, PA
to see some of the original artwork.
Well done Pixelmaster.
