Saturday dawned clear at the annual Alberta Star Party.
Lot's of time for some solar imaging. This time with a QHY 362C(olor) camera and both a Lunt 60 solar scope and an Astro-Tech 64EDQ with a Herschel Wedge. Most shots also incorporated a 5x Barlow.
I show the Ha Solar imaging in full color but converted the White Light to grayscale.
Today is looking very promising for clear skies tonight.
Enjoy!

Excellent detail in the photosphere.
Really nice shots.
The Albuquerque international balloon fiesta is going on this week and the weather has been less than cooperative.
I have only been able to shoot 4 day events and no evening event due to rain.
One of the wetter fiestas but maybe tomorrow will be better. I was looking forward to imagining a lot of solar but there has not been an opportunity.
Here is one shot from the event on the second day.

Sky looks pretty good in that shot. Love the balloons!
