By the way, I also think it looks pretty good in black & white or as a sepia toned image...

Face it: With a magnificent scene like this, which is a feast for the eye in its normal state, any tweaking is going to make it phenomenal 💰💰💰💰💰

If I were you I'd give JPGs a try.
A few years ago I won Panasonic Photo of the week with a JPG.
IMHO the latest camera tech (IA mode) can do better than 90% of photographers.
Attached is my suggestion - with out help from photoshop.
Good luck.

Awesome results ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's not the processing that's the problem. It's the point of view. Who was it that said something along the lines of "The art of photography is knowing where to stand." (Misquoted I'm sure.) A straight-on, perpendicular can rarely do a bridge justice.

I don't think any of the reprocessing efforts that you're seeing in this thread actually help very much as they're trying to solve the wrong problem.

Wow! You did a great job! It is beautiful now. Thank you. I don’t know how to do what you said you did nor do I know how to use Photoshop. I appreciate your time and effort!

I was in a tour group that made us run to not miss the bus but I will definitely keep your comment in mind for future bridge photos. Thank you.

How is this?

I hope I’m responding to the right person. I don’t know how to use the program either. Thank you so much for your instruction as well as your time and effort. I love it!

I just don’t seem to understand why my pictures lack that special something. Please critique. Thanks in advance.

You made this picture. Why ask us the reason? It is the photographer's responsibility to make the subject interesting. What is your subject and why is it not the focal point of view? Answer those questions and you might see what is missing.

Your photo looks great.....Yet, I think you have at least [3] great subjects within your photo.

The bridge is great, but I (really) love the Dome in the back ground.

I am somewhat in disagreement with this statement. I photographer makes the photograph. Why it was taken are a variety of reasons which the observer can offer a reason. I would like to offer a gentle critique. I think this photo is a nice story of the scenery. But I think the landscape contains too many elements to make the photo captivating. In a scene such as this I would create several smaller photographs each one having two key elements.
If my opinion offended anyone please accept my apology.
Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts.

Developed in Photoshop to HDR, reduced dark shadows, added color to sky, and sharpened. Hope this helps and you need a photo developing program.

You know what they say, if your picture isn’t good enough, then you ain’t close enough.
