Drum Corps International might have to take a back seat to these extraordinarily disciplined & talented young ladies!

I think most marching bands would take a back seat.

Thanks,
Mark

note: I played in a high school marching band. Playing while doing intricate routines is extremely difficult. These young women are beyond fabulous!!!

Being a former trumpet/french horn player in our HS ROTC Band, these kids did a beautiful display of marching, keeping their lines straight and staying on beat. well done.

Not quite all women as I was able to count 3 men also. They're really something and yes it looks easy the way they perform but its anything but that. Timing is everything. Thanks for sharing.

Not all girls. Three tuba players and a trombone player are males.

It depends upon which video you watch. The first one I viewed was all girls. There are numerous videos.

Thanks,
Mark

Thank you for the link. I enjoyed it immensely.
As a snare drummer, I used to be a fan of drum and bugle corps field shows (I know, not a band). They have evolved away from the original paramilitary style and have become highly feminized and theatrical. This girls band reminded me of what once was. Don't get me wrong, the kids work their as*es off and are technically highly talented and competent. However, for me, they are not the precise, entertaining, marching corps of decades ago. I admire the kids, it is the orginization like DCI that has lost tradition of decades past. They have ruined it for me. These Japanese kids have given me back the appreciation that I had lost. Bravo.
