The first one I ever saw passed us somewhere in Nevada and a sign flipped down in the rear window which identified
it as a Tucker.

I have seen one at the county museum in Laporte, IN. You could play tennis inside that vehicle Beautiful shots 🎯🎯🎯🎯

very cool. It would appear that Studebaker in the 60's borrowed heavily from this design.

I wonder what the Sun Tachometer drive in the engine comp. is for, I see no Tach in or on the dash.

Francis Ford Coppola (who directed the movie “Tucker”) has a burgundy Tucker at his winery in Rutherford, California. There are also three Tucker’s at the Antique Automobile Club of America museum in Hershey, Pa. Beautiful cars.

Could it be for the engine management?

Of the 51 Tuckers produced, how many are still in operational condition? Any one vehicle still around is probably worth more than Preston Tucker spent on designing, building and trying to protect the company and the cars, even back in the 40s and 50s dollars.

Didn't realize it was a rear drive car. Also the radio looks difficult to operate. Beautiful car.

When I was young we had a neighbor that owned a mechanics shop in East Los Angeles. He signed up for a Ticker dealership. Had one to display for awhile but I never saw that he built a showroom or ever had more that the one. I think he had it only to show people and never sold it. I recall it was expensive compared or other cars that year but can't recall the price. I saw and had a ride in it (once). I was 13 then. I don't recall it was much different from any other car except for the appearance and the rear engine location. I remember it was roomy compared to my mother's 37 Oldsmobile. The model he had was black.
