Ok, here’s one for of our LRC experts….I shot and edited wedding photos for my niece last year. She recently asked for my help in creating a wedding album. While culling photos in LRC, something weird happened. When I look at a photo in library mode, it appears unedited. When I switch to develop mode, it appears with complete edits. It’s happening with virtually every photo whether they are copies, imbedded previews or the actual raw photo. I am perplexed. I am also wondering if I choose to place a photo in a collection for later use whether I am culling unedited or edited photos. Thanks.

Did you move something around OUTSIDE of Lightroom? You may find that something needs to be re-linked, or that you need to re-generate the proxies.
Sounds like you've inadvertently left a batch edit instruction in place. Check to see if you've left an "Apply settings on import" box checked.

No settings checked on import box. Thanks.

The photos were moved to an external hard drive (fully recognized by LRC) after editing last year. I moved them back into Lightroom proper this week to speed up editing and the album creation process.

Did you move them (both times) using Lightroom?

Can you provide a little more detail about how the "moves" were done?
"in library mode, it appears unedited. When I switch to develop mode, it appears with complete edits."
In the Library mode you are looking at "previews", not actually the image itself. You may need to update the previews. Select the wedding photos, then in the Library mode, pick Previews from the Library drop down menu and pick one.
I can't verify this will work because I've never seen it on my equipment.

Thank You! That did the trick. I instructed LRC to build standard previews for all the wedding photos. The edits are back. Thanks again!
