Local Corvette show in Frederick Md. They were packed tight. Early vettes to brand new.
Beautiful car. Loved that style.
Every generation of the Corvette has had some year models that were terrific. C1-C3s all good, last 3-4 years of C4 very good as well. Owned a '98 C5 for 15+ years. C6-C8 also terrific body styles and performance continues to stagger our imaginations.
If buying one today, I would probably be looking for a nice C7. I really like the shape of the body.

Beautiful shot of an incomparable year
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I`m not that sure of the year. I think it`s a 61. I should have taken pictures of the entry paper on the windshield. They had multiple vettes there with different chrome options. What a contrast between the brand new and the classic corvettes.
I think it is a 61 . . . year I graduated high school. A beauty.
It's either a '59 or a '60. Those two years were practically identical in appearance.
The license plate says expires 3-31-60. it could be a '59 or '60
I think that the '61 was refered to as the boat tail Corvette. It
was the start of evolving the body design to the Stingray. Just
my two cents. A very nice car regardless of the year.
The C4 series has been my favorite Corvette.

I believe the '58 was the only year with the chrome headlights bezels. And in '62 they went to the round tail lights.

Toothed grille was gone in 61. Emblem on the side was different on the 61 as well. 59 or 60.
