That's not true: B&H pays the sales tax when you use the PayBoo card.

I've used both the old and new PayBoo cards without any troubles.

I didn't say the taxes were not paid. They were, just not by the PayBoo user. Thus, you skate.

Suspiciously high?? Since when was a high credit score suspicious?? LoL

I thought the higher the better? At least that's what my lenders tell me.

Sour grapes. Call them, speak friendly to them, and I am sure they will make it right for you.

PAYBOO?

There is your issue. Kiddie names, dealing with kiddies who have no healthy fear or take ownership of their positions.

We are working with a wonderland of middle aged kindergarteners who have a silly name for adult business practices. This does not surprise me in the least.

The problem is that they are so popular that even Canon fans are ditching their systems and ordering them, making it difficult for Nikon shooters to get theirs...

I've read some ridiculous responses here on UHH. Your response is definitely one of them.

It seems you enjoy the exercise of jumping to conclusions. There are a couple of B and H folks that are members of UHH. It might have been a better route to chat with either a rep at the store directly, which you didn't mention doing, or address the issue with one of the UHH members.

Personally, I've had nothing by wonderful service from B and H and will continue to use them as my primary backup supplier. My first and foremost supplier is my local camera store.

I hope B&H will respond to this thread to clear the air because I too like doing business with them. Something went sideways (it happens) for sure and I would like to hear their side of the story. If they screwed up lets give them a chance to apologize.

I will NEVER use a company credit card. I use my CapitaOne card for everything and in all those years ( 20 something ) never had a problem with them. Many years ago I used PayPal and got stuck paying for a fraudulent sale. NEVER AGAIN.

I am always surprised when ever the administration allows yet another one sided, not verified, dirty laundry post.
I too have had issues with outstanding companies, I have always been able to work things out, including B&H.
When folks use this forum to blast an honest, hard working company without the other side of the story being told I believe it is just wrong.
Folks are not guilty until proven so in our courts, but on this side you are guilty without a fair trial.
Shame, shame on the administration.
I am always surprised when ever the administration... (show quote)

At least four times B&H has erred on my orders, and only once did they even reply to my E-mails (and that was when I came here publicly with my complaint)

If they only allowed compliments, that would be censoring.

Why don't you blame Nikon who failed to deliver a camera you wanted to buy 100 days ago? That's the failure you should be giving up on.

Would you say the same if the camera were a Canon?

Yikes, that sucks. That is why I either use PayPal or use my own Banks' Cards. I stay away from most retailers own "financing". There are a few exceptions that I will not go into here. Good luck. Hope you don't end up needing an attorney.

I've used Affirm at KEH and it's been a good experience.

I stick with American Express for charge payments whenever I can and NEVER use a vendor's or store's credit card, not even WalMart or Amazon. They make a lot of money on finance charges, with policies that are designed to increase those fees. I've heard sad stories about Amex over the years, but I've heard them about everyone else, too.
Agreed. The benefits of added warranty time (used once), purchase insurance (never used), ability to return item on a "no store return" (used once), and to dispute charges (have used a few times), plus some rewards points, I always use my AMEX card.

Perhaps you have heard of TINFL? There is no free lunch!

In my day it was TANSTAAFL. Something you could sort of pronounce. There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.
