You caught really nice action here. The images are sharp with nice clarity and isolation of subject. Well done!

Nobody is on the ground! Too many smiling faces. Can't be football.

Great photos, Tom.
I think the contrast looks better than your previous post, but I will defer to Jules or Rick opinions. Sunny day games - always a lot of contrast by default. Sometimes I check the histogram, avoid the highlights or shoot with the players backlit by the sun to lessen the contrast. Overall I think you did well though.

Really like 1, 3, & 4. Got a good tip from a well known sports photographer - crop and take the fans into the action they never see from the stands

Tom,

Your action photos are really good. Concerning contrast, you're on the cusp on nailing it, the main problem is your high-lights are pretty blown out with the cross lighting or in some cases back lighting. Your histogram will show these spikes right of center and LR will show this too in your post processing where you can dial it back as best you can (sometimes that info is lost being blown out) with your whites/highlights both under LR basic and curves adjustment sliders (not sure if you use LR). I think you should be very pleased with all of these pictures Tom and I must admit you stayed low to the ground as the ole knees can take.

Stay safe,
Rick
