Saying several things, but mainly that the less expensive Tamron does quite well in my book. And I did like what saw and see daily.
Very nice. I lived on Tybee the winter of 1979 while working on my MFA in photography. They bring back fine memories. Looks like a great camera and lens combination.
Yes , I do like what I saw. Citing the camera/lens combo is just give others an idea of quality (ok) by the small FF mirror less camera and the lens. I only do minor edits in Photos. I don’t use any Adobe program. As for your snide comment, I’ve been taking photos since the 1960s. A few have been published along the way. I too don’t believe the camera is the end all. It doesn’t make one a better photographer. It’s the eye that counts most. That said I started with a Canon Pellix, Leica f3, then a Canon F-1, Leica M6, Canon 5D MkII (still have) and the Sony. At 80, I don’t want to spend a lot of time hauling the Canon around, hence the small camera. I suppose you are impostor UHH, but not to me.
