Saturday, September 24, the Indiana Barn Foundation will hold its annual barn tour in Daviess County in southwestern Indiana. If you are interested, check online with the Indiana Barn Foundation website for more details.
I’ll be there somewhere along the route adding to my collection of barn photos.
Sounds like fun! I'll look forward to seeing some of your new barn photos.
Looking forward to more of your work. Always engaging images.
I love the old barns John - looking forward to seeing more of yours.

That same weekend will be the Iowa barn foundation’s annual barn tour. Google Iowa barn foundation for a list of barns and their locations.

I’d like to come out and see yours, too.
Wish I were going to be there for it. Sounds like fun.
Wonder if there is a category here to see all the unique old, structures and things.

Seems like an “Architecture” thread might be interesting.
Twice I took a road trip from Connecticut to California. I stayed off of the interstates except to go though big cities. I was amazed by the roadside buildings along the way (stopping to photograph them). Old school buildings, abandoned houses, cattle pens, even whole towns (that I could not access). My daughter and grandson (my excuse for driving to California) moved back to Connecticut and I no longer have an excuse for making extended road trips, but I was really taken by the barns on US 40 in Illinois, I wish I photographed them with the advertising signs on their roofs.
I will be watching for your photos.
