The first two are a common sight here, if it was a video you would see everyone fluttering their wings, Looks pretty cool. There are probably 100 white birds and several Ibis, Tri Colored Heron and miscellaneous other birds mixed in.
I've never seen a Mushroom like this before, about an inch and a half across and two inches tall.
Are you tired of seeing GBHs eating snakes yet? I think it's the biggest snake I have seen being swallowed.
Are you tired of seeing Gator photos yet? I'm not!
And last but not least, a major part of the food base in the swamp!
I hope you like!

Great set!
GBH and snake shot reminds me of the rhetorical question “how do you eat an elephant - one bite at a time!”
I don’t see that working on a snake!

Thank you! Yeah, we got another shot of him with the snake probably three quarters swallowed with his tail still wrapped around the GBH's neck. Must be a weird feeling...for both of them, now that I think about it. But worse for the snake!

Thanks, Fred. I don't know if that's my favorite, but yeah. I really like the Mushroom! That's from my new to me Tamron 200mm zoom macro lens mounted on the D500. Not the fastest lens I own but pretty sharp and small and light.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked them. The Gator was right on the side of the road. When we first saw him, he was stretched all the way across the road, so better than ten feet. We didn't get a shot of that, it would have been through the windshield. But as we got closer, he moved across the road and stopped in the grass long enough for a couple quick shots.
