Very nice, Mike. That last shot is especially well done, nicely composed. You caught the fireweed all gone to cotton. That’s supposed to mean that winter is 6 weeks away, according to folklore.

Thanks, Greg, I hope that you get a mild winter.

Today's post is a whoops. When you travel with three cameras and four lenses plus a memory card runs out of space, mistakes are made. As I went to post my wrap up shots for the trip, I discovered a set of shots from our first day arrival in Juneau when the tour took us to Freedom Bridge Park to see the Mendenhall Glacier on the way to the ship.

This belated set shows shows the views of the glacier from different positions in the park. Included are shots of flowering raspberry and fireweed.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Beautiful scenery and shots Mike. The old saying, "better late than never" sure applies to this set.

I’m not fussy about when you share your photos, just that you do! I especially like the glacier landscapes.

Another superb set Mike. I prefer the cooler tones in 6 rather than the sepia cast in 7. The warmer tones work better in 2 than 1.

Thanks, Mark. I experimented quite a bit with this set because of the dreary overcast.
