The CDC (Finally) Admitted the Science on Natural Immunity. Why Did It Take so Long?

Doesn't sound like her natural immunity helped too much...
Apparently neither did her vaccination which he was implying was overridden by the vaccine as for actually catching it again.

The "truths" about covid and about the vaccines have changed over time as we get more experience.
Now the line is that the vaccines help mitigate your symptoms...reduce the chances of needing hospitalization...reduce chances of death or long covid.
I must admit, seeing the experiences of many friends, vaxxed people do get covid, but it resembles a mild cold or an allergy attack and they are over it in a couple of days.
I have no direct experience as I have never caught the rona. I guess the shots worked for me so far.

If it changes then it wasn't the truth.
Truth is constant opinions are what changes and sadly the "Truths" have been decided generally by one person who has been totally wrong so many times.

I caught it and it was some of the best sleep I ever had. That’s all I wanted to do

You must not be "fully isolated" if you caught it again. Vaccine or no vaccine, if you aren't exposed you don't get it.
My wife may have been a carrier. She never caught the disease and she works in MRI. Changes from scrubs to civies before she even sees me.

Riiiight.... The best way to avoid getting Covid is to have already gotten it... (That's not really a plan)
The surest way to avoid getting COVID more than once is to have already gotten it, and died.
